No power issues. And I push my subwoofer hard with a Class A/B 500-watt amplifier. I do put my car on a battery maintainer if I don’t plan on driving for days.

Considering the amount of tire/road and wind noise at freeway speeds, how much difference does a high end audio system really make over the factory install?
I find this car pretty quiet on the road. I was able to hear my wider dynamic range music (jazz, new age and classical) traveling at 80-mph.
I performed a spectrum analysis of the factory system that revealed the Burmester system is actually quite good on its own. However, it lacked really deep bass with volume. Hence, my addition of a true 12-inch subwoofer with 500-watt amp for the 20-80hz portion of the frequency spectrum. After adjusting all the necessary parameters the subwoofer blends really well with the factory system.
I initially thought of replacing the front speakers with Focal drop-in replacement drivers but I found it not required. I have other cars that I personally installed very high quality components - amps/speakers/etc - so I know what a properly installed system sounds like. My CLE system is close enough that I will not do anymore upgrades.
I highly recommend adding the woofer if you appreciate full sound audio.
