Recently I discovered that upon closing my passenger door, the window fails to return to the sealed position. If I open the door in this condition the window sinks even lower and remains in that position. Anyone experience or hear of this happening on our CLE or any other MB car? With the car on, raising the window fully with the door closed works.

Try doing a reset of the auto-close windows:

To reset your Mercedes auto-close windows, turn the ignition on, roll the window all the way down, and hold the button for at least 5 seconds after it's fully open. Then, roll the window all the way up and hold the button for at least 5 seconds after it closes. Repeat this procedure for each window that needs resetting
