Speedometer Error
I just finished the last of my long trips before I put my car to sleep for the winter.
There is a five mile stretch on I-80 in Utah that has a speedometer test feature. At 80-mph it takes 45-seconds to complete a mile. I found that the speedometer is off by 3-mph. I have to run at 83-mph indicated to achieve the 45-seconds per mile marker that results in 80-mph actual.
I am curious if any others have checked their speedometer accuracy?
