All, I am placing an order for a new CLE53 and torn between the look of the "standard" leather black w/ red accents upgrade vs the nappa leather options. I want the blue exterior so it limited my options (otherwise I'd just go with power red). Does anyone have experience with how these feel in comparison? I currently have an E53 coupe with nappa leather and afraid the standard leather would feel like a downgrade.

SwornAllegiance,
I have the Napa leather and so far is holding well after 8900 miles (vs. some other OEM mfg.'s).
Ventilated seats as well.
You cant go wrong with the Napa, as you mentioned of your E53,.
I would consider it highly if my intent is to keep the CLE 53 for few years, otherwise not so much.
My only regret was not having the option for the Forged wheels (which were not available for my 2024).
Good luck, the CLE 53AMG it's a beauty and a beast in coupe/GT form.

I got the Nappa Leather with yellow accents for my 2025 Sun Yellow CLE AMG 53.
I like the feel and they really look great. I took six 750+ mile drives in the summer with some legs taking 13-hours. I had zero fatigue or discomfort for my 6’4” frame. I have the standard seats.

I've had both and to me the Nappa is softer and a more sumptuous feel. I also like the smooth look of Nappa vs the pebbled look of the regular leather.
