Thanks for the info. My wife's 2025 Genesis G80 had the same recall for software timing issue causing a screen reboot. We never experienced it.....
NHTSA showing that 100 percent of the identified MB cars are expected to be affected. Really 100% wow.... Let's see if anyone on this board ever sees this issue....

I had a 2024 CLE 300 cabriolet that the screens going blank occurred multiple times ( vehicle was eventually replaced by MB with a 2025 model) The screens going blank recently occurred after 8,000 mile on my 2025 CLE and the dealer “updated” the software.

With my previous sedans (non MB), the recall documents originated from the Mfg.via USPO mail, not the dealer..
Now in the days OTA, etc. who knows? I do see the recall notice on the NHTSA site.
My screen did shut down a year or so ago and a software update (it was at the shop 9 days) took care of that problem and it has never returned (so far).

It has happened once on my CLE 53. No screens whatsoever, including head-up display. Literally driving blind/no info. Tried a few vehicle and system restarts, etc. before I headed home to no avail. After about a half hour of the system resetting once every minute or so, everything magically came back on. Both screens, head up display. Car ran perfect the whole time. The vehicle dynamics wheels on the steering wheel still did their thing, exterior turn signals worked but w/no indication/clicks inside.
I resorted to Waze on my phone to monitor speed. That was a fun drive...

Yesterday, my car (March 2025 build with 8,000 miles) screen went black for a second, and when it came back I had lost all my nav settings including destinations. It persisted for a couple of trips that day, but fortunately they all came back this morning. So, it's apparently a graceful failure mode.
