Question Weird sound.. Help

I have a 2001 clk430.. with 19inch lorinser D93's the car is lowered with H&R sport springs.. every time i brake i get this weird sound that feels like i need new pads or something.. i took the car to the dealer and they said that all is good with pads and rotors.. they said it could be tire noise.. or a combination of things when you lowered the car.. i have yokohama avs sport tires.. not really sure what is causing the noise.. any ideas would be great.. thanks...

If you hear a rumbling noise, then it's your tires.

Usually when your pads/calipers are failing, they will actually lose grip.

i had a problem when i changed my wheels from 17 to 18 inch. Every time i braked ( especially when braking and turning ), i would hear a snapping sound from my front brakes.

i took it to the dealers and they claimed they modified my calipers to suit the wheel size. The sound is back, so what i will do is take it again to the dealers and this time ask them more question regarding whatever modifications they did!
