There is a button next to the door lock button, it has a car with a towing hook?? What does this button do and why does it flash when the car is locked?

I need to buy an owner's manual, so any help would be appreciated.

Its the factory alarm. You would turn it off if your car is being towed. If not the alarm will sound off when the car is jacked in the air.
