ok, I was looking at my car and it has the Michelin pilot sport tires on it. The rear are 245-40-17 and the fronts are 225-45-17. Was/is this the stock tire size that came on this car or should they have been the same size around? I am going to try and trade these tires in for an all weather tire. I think these are not even rated for snow and Denver is still in one of it's snowiest months. I need to get something so I don't have an unexpected meeting with the gaurdrail or curb.

Those are the stock tire sizes. They are meant to be staggered (wider in the back).
