Hey, I'm looking for some basic info on the 1998-2002 CLK series. What are the main differenced between the 320 and 430? Is the automatic touchshift/shiftable? How fast are each of the models 0-60 and quarter mile? What mods are out there.

The 430 has more power and came standard with the AMG wheels, bumpers, and sideskirts. MB says the 320 does 0-60 in 6.9 seconds and the 430 in 6.1 seconds...but their figures are usually on the high end. 430 introduced in 1999, various little changes done to the body of both in 2000 (blinking mirrors, nicer body kit on 320 etc). Automatic touchshift available in 2000 I think. My 320 did the 1/4 mile in 15.8 seconds I think. If you're trying to decide between the two, go with the 430 for sure hahah.

Oh yea, lots of mods out there. For appearance mods, check out the pictures thread and look at mods people list in their sigs. For engine mods, you can get stuff as simple as pulleys for $300-$400? and around 13hp, all the way up to a supercharger for around $11,000
