Tire question
anybody have 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 setup on their CLK. ive gone through three tires in less than two years. they seem to rub on both the outside and inside but only slightly. what should i do?

Are your tires right up to your fenders? My car has HR springs now but it is a cabrio so i dont kno if it applies to you. Mine sits lower in the back due to the weight but its not bad at all. I have a 235/35/19 tire with offset 35 and i have no rubbing anywhere. I am currently using Falken Ziex tires since there cheap and I think ill have camber wear (I just lowered it)

I am using 235 front and 265 back 19" 35mm offset with 10mm spacer in the back.,. no rubbing at all.. except it touches to top of the wheel liner sometime when I hit a bump.
Lowered with H&R with pad 2 and 3....

yeah the 55 can have a 275 setup with no problem supposedly. but yes i just removed one of my cheap nittos that i had from the rear, and i swear the tire had balloned about seven times and the inside tread was worn down considerable, can't belive it didn't pop on me, the way i drive. so i put pirelli's on and now they rub on the outside too, damit! i had nitto's in the front and they rubbed, now i have dunlop and they rub on the outside only i think. will rolling my fenders help, in both cases or should i grind the inside too?
