We werent completly unscathed...brused ribs, knees, left wrist in cast...but I actually got out of the car and walked to the ambulance.

A kid pulled out in front of us and hit us nose to nose....to top it off he was driving the same year and color Avalanche that we own. Benz took the lanche down with her! both totaled

It looks like someones head hit the windshield on the passenger's side.
Did anyone hit their head? I figured the air bags would prevent that with the seatbelts on.

Do you also have a side picture of the driver's side of the car. A side profile....to see how much of the car, if any, came into the cabin.
Thanks
Glad you guys are OK.
Nice to know all that money you spent on a benz was worth it when it saves your life.

Insurace company owns the car soon (assuming he had insurance and it is totalled). He would have to settle, then buy it back from them for salvage value.

Sorry about the wreck. Thank God both you and your girl are alright. If you can get any parts out of the car let me know. I would love to have the woodgrain parts. I really need the factory stereo and speakers, factory wheels. Again let me know if you can get any parts out of the car, name your price.

Dang man, Sorry about your car. I couldnt believe it when i saw it on here, its probably a good thing you had it up as high as you did, gave you a better impact level with that truck. If you want to sell the woodgrain let me know what you're asking. Glad you and everyone else were ok.

Thank you all for your kind words and wishes.Means alot.

Cindi did not hit the windshield. The truck hit us, air bags deployed, deflated and we then hit a concrete pole. We were on our way to pick up our daughter...thank god she wasnt there. I can only assume they are going to total it. Looks much worse in person. We had the car towed to a body shop...I'll try to get as much from it as possible.

King320, you recognised the car from my new grill thread hahahah. Not even a week later. Damn the luck! I had a ton of parts gooing into it and the first of them are ariving tomorrow. I'm thinking abot a 55 as a replacement.

I will definatly own another Mercedes! I think I owe it to my fallen comrade.

Thank you again for your wishes

I'm very glad you and the future-wifey are doing great, it is painful to see the car, but to hell with it....you needed a good reason to pickup a 55!!!

Glad to see you're okay. Yet another German engineered car saves yet another life. My X5 saved me last winter when I rolled over.

Once again, glad to you see that you and your fiance are okay!

Now, with the insurance money that you collect, you should buy your self a Maybach.

That car can be fixed. The whole front end comes as one part. The fenders and hood are not included but the subframe is complete.

Of course the X5 saved your life ...... but why did it roll over ? Seems to happen a lot with those tugs.
