On the instrument cluster, there is a dot.
Does anyone know the small (3mm diameter) round dot located 1/2 inch below
the center pivot point of the gas needle indicater?
Is this a second gas indicator light, which comes on when the needle is on zero
and computer tells you zero miles to go, when you actually have about one gallon of gasoline left in your tank?

I've often wondered about that too. Despite the fact that I've run out of gas in this car (broken fuel sensor), I've never seen it come on, if that is in fact its purpose. Who wants to find out if that's true?

This mystery dot can make it hard to be punctual — that is, to arrive "on the dot" or at a particular point in time, - if it is on not functioning, or has no purpose, and one depends on a flashing light for the last gallon of gasoline to get there.
It sure is unobtrusive.
Perhaps it's a "road-rage-sensor".

that is a light, its bright amber in color and it comes on when your emergency 5 litre fuel backup kicks in.
just make sure it never comes on cause the last thing u want is to have all the sh*t left over to be sucked into your injectors!!!

One of the "lights" round there is in fact a light sensor so the cluster can subtly adjust its brightness depending on how bright it is in the car. Another light round there somewere is a fuel low light
