Car looks very nice!...
The headlights really "POP" with chrome rings around them. The aftermarket kits are around 39 bucks but not as nice as the mercedes oem kit@ 175. As far as the DTM comment from another poster.....Consider the source!!

But nice grille! I was thinking about doing the same exact thing with the larger star grille from formymercedes.com. I too am curious to see what the whole front of the car will look like with the chrome rings around the headlights + blacked out grill + chrome star.
How did you paint the grille?

the grille is the small star .. i took the star off and he painted and cleared it... the pics look alright... but in person the look is night and day on the black car... it looks *****in' now....
I had the chrome headlight trim and took off.... IT LOOKS MUCH BETTER WITHOUT.... trust me.. the chrome head surrounds look grandmotherish.... without matrixish....
the best look for blacked out grille and star is small star grille.. big star does not work as well balanced with the other circles on the front/face.. i.e. lights...
I have another grille.. the bigstar with the fibre glass surround which i had chrome electro plated for $300 meaning i have $700 in that grille... it looks hott but after i switched it out when i had my old sport grill blacked.. i was like WOW.. the car really comes together... the lorinser DTM really is the best looking on the w2-8 period.. personally I would agree that most persians (at least in LA) have no taste.. BUT what the hell is that guy talking about.. the LDTM is the **** for the w208!!!

i bought mmgrads old one for $775... repair paint and install cost 400..
new and installed would have been $3200 + i sold my amg grill so take another 350 off the final price and i did pretty good.. saved over 2gs

Milanos or Brabus (or replicas)...good choice for the W208. However, chrome may not look too good on your car. Not only will it slow you down considerably, but it won't look right with your 'blacked out' look you have going on. Silver rims with a polished rim will accent your grill very well, IMO.
