does anyone know if you can convert a clk to manual tranmission???
hi everyone i am new to this site and this is my first posting. my question is if there is a way to convert the 99clk320 to manual transmission ? if the c-clasa manula transmission would bolt on to mine and if no if there is any other ways to convert to manula? thanks

Hmmm...i'm not so sure but i do know that's theres one CLK320 or CLK230k made a manual transplant by swapping to a twin turbo supra 6-speed in Miri-Malaysia.he did say that's it would fit without cutting the chassis since a its based on a 3.0 Turbo Engine...he did say that he need to adjust the vibaration damper locations and the engine only cost 1555USD Re-con that is

anything can be done, its just an issue of how much $$$ and time you want to spend and be without your car.
I imagine it wouldnt be all that difficult though because you can use the SLK320 manual, possibly a custom driveshaft, and SLK engine/tranny computers. I probably oversimplified it but you can definietly dip into the benz parts bin to get the job done.
