Race exhaust
Eisemann race exhaust... I have the twin 83mm pipes.... I get complements all the time...people saying " that is the best sounding benz I have ever heard" It sounds like a muscle car but with a modern european precision. Trust me... it is the best!!!!!!

Out Of Control!!
I agree with mcironi. I also have the Eisenmann Race exhaust and it sounds great.
Just go to their website and you will see the listing for mercedes. If you come to the meet at tysons this friday you can hear it in person and make your own decision.

I noticed that you have a CLK55 AMG exhaust. Is that a straight bolt-on to a stock CLK430? Or does it require other modifications? I assume you bought the muffler from a dealer? Do you remember the cost? Thanks.

haha before i put my muffler on, i revved the engine with no muffler, and you are right the sound it amazing. I bought the CLK55 exhaust used, it was off of a 2001. It doesn't fit perfectly, you have to do slight modifications, but any muffler shop won't have problems making it fit perfectly. I think it looks better on a 430 because on the 55 it is 'tucked in' and you can't really see it but on my car it sticks out just a little bit so you can see it.

I've driven a little without a muffler... kinda sounds like a Mustang with a borla exhaust... loud, VERY throaty sound...
