sideskirts clip ??

does anyone know how to pop the side skirts clip back on....the last two clips on mine got poped off between the end of the door and the wheel well. the clips are still stuck on the body of the car and the side skirts are bowing out cuz its know attached to the clips.

so what do i do? do i somehow pop the clips off the body ...attached them to the side skirts and then pop it back in? if so how do i pop the clips off the body...feels like they are gonna break every time i try to

thanks in advance

The best way is to remove the clips from the body then place them back in the skirt.....If they break just order new clips from the dealer. Mine broke when I removed my sideskirts also.

The clip actually goes through the skirt first and then into the corrsponding hole on the underside of the body. If the clip is pushed all the way through you'll need to buy new clips. Last time I bought them I think they were about $2.00 each!

just a flat philips screw driver to pop those clips out,. they wron't break.

5 white clips under the door in the interior

3 behind the door (black)
2 in front of the door. (black)

and 5 big ones under the skirt...

they are 1.75 each in the dealer plus tax

I just got back from doing this myself with great success. Yes, you do clip the skirt first and then attach it to the car. And like the guy above said, you can safely remove the clips there already. I just put to flat-head screwdrivers underneath either side, applied even pressure, and popped them out.

Does anyone know where I can get the black gasket that goes in between the body and the side skirt. I seem to be missing it on the passenger side....

the dealership is the only place that I know of to get the black plastic strip (gasket) that goes in between the front fender and skirt as well as the rear panel and skirt....it comes in one single long piece that is sufficient to do one complete side (you just have to trim length to fit). It actually attaches to the sideskirt....cost is about $15.00....p/n 00099779049.
