I dinged my car last night!
Backed out of a driveway into a parked car last night. It was a on a narrow residental street and the other car wasn't even supposed to be parked on the street. My back right bumper had some paint chipped off and a slight hairline dent in the rubber portion. It's ironic, I'm overly cautious when and where I park, where I go and what happens...backing out of a driveway! The other car got a dent behind the front left tire (right before the driver door). The owner's getting some quotes today. At least I can say that the CLK is built pretty well - relatively unblemished compared to the other car!
Still deciding if I should replace my whole back bumper or live with it. Maybe the body shop will be able to melt it out. Not really noticeable unless you look closely. Unfortunately, that's all I see now. I feel like going to CLK anonymous! And this would be it! Any idea how much this may cost for my car?
