I think my 430 has way more than normal valvetrain noise. I didn't think that much about it until I picked up a used S430, and am now amazed at how much more quiet, and smooth, it is than my car. Could be that it's not well broken in (about 11k miles, and the S has 50k miles). My independent wrench seem to think that the oil is still original, althoughit has had one service. I guess I wouldn't put it past em, but I still don't think it would make that much difference. Seems the same, hot or cold. So noisy that I can hear it sitting in the driver's seat going down the road with the top down, over 3k RPM. Anyone else got a thought or had this problem? Thanks..
