New and need help with xenons......

Just got a 2000 CLK 320 and an after market xenons kit for it. what next?? i've been reading on some of the postings, is dropping the front bumper the only way??? can a novice guy like me do it myself??? do i need to run power for ballasts??? how can i do that with battery not under the hood???

kit looked similar to this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WD7V

any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

but ugh, are those the really really super bright headlights that blind all oncoming traffic? if so - PLEASE don't put those on your car! they hurt!

If you're using the right kit for your car (H7) then you shouldn't have to do any wiring - everything will plug right in. All you'll have to do is install the bulbs into the housings and mount the ballasts somewhere under the hood. Even though it's not necessary, if you want to do a clean install, you'll have a lot more space to work if you drop the bumper and pull out the headlights. If I remember correctly, you'll probably have to bump your headlight fuses up one size.

yes, i do have the (H7) kit, but according to the installation paper/hardware, it comes with a power wire to the power source. Is this not necessary??

thanks

depends on the kit you get., most of them do not require external power source.,!

you can plug right in to the h7 plug that is from the factory
