stealership id giving me a great deal?

so i have an '02 430 coupe. i am leasing it and the list price when i started the lease was at 54000 and the buy back was about 38000. they are willing to lower the buyback to 31000 instead. i dont know how much my car is really worth it as 26600 miles on it.. what should i do..?

Check the bluebook prices on it, thats what they're using. My guess is that they dont think they can move a dark red CLK (No offense). I like it, but its not a very common color like silver black and white. My dad had the same problem with his E430 when he wanted to trade in for a 4-matic. It's forest green and that lowered what they were willing to give him for it because it would be harder to sell. If you like the car and it's in good condition i would compare it to other cars in its range (CLK 55 for example) and decide on that.

Exactly what I'm thinking....also that $39K price is highly inflated. If I were in the market for a W208 430, I wouldn't pay over $28K for a 2002....just my $.02

what do you mean by the "buyback"? are you saying that the stealership is lowering your residual value, or is the stealership just offering you a lot less than what they promised you at the end of the lease?

if you are leasing your car, your contract should state EXACTLY what your residual value of your car is after you lease is complete. That value should not change.

the new M3's ugly if you ask me, get the CLK 55 or an older M3. I wouldnt get a CLK 500 over an M3. My 2 cents. Your call though.
