The numbers posted on the site are at the crank. The 360HP I posted is to the wheels, which translates to about 460HP at the crank.

Crank is what the engine is producing. Unfortunately, these numbers to not reach the wheels without losing power due to the tranny, wheels, etc. The only truly important numbers are those reported at the wheels, as that is what the car is actually using.

so wait when i see my clk 320 saying 215 hp is that crank or wheel???

I wanted to add my additional two cents worth to this nice post. I just had my Clk 320 Kleemanized and added a different crank pulley and I am getting 345 HP at the crank. This is the same as a CLK 55 for way less money. The Kleeman supercharger for V6 engines costs about $11,000. But my car does not perform like a CLK 55 because the 55 has a torque advantage which I was hoping to overcome by having a rear differential adjustment. BUT a kleemann supercharged CLK 430 has more HP and more torque than a CLK 55 and outperforms a CLK 55. Whether this is "way' outperform or "little" outperform depends on once bias because at those extremes of performance it is hard to tell. In any case, the Kleemann supercharged CLK 430 will give you better performance than a CLk 55 and at an extra $18,000 costs less than a CLK 55. I have always felt that the CLK 55 is a great car but MB priced it a bit too high because at $70-80,000 your choices open up quit a bit. In summary, I actually think that the best bang for the buck is to supercharge a CLK 320........you will not believe you have the same car. It actually 'WAY" out performs a CLK 430 but does not run like a CLK 55. I also think it is better to supercharge your CLK 4390 than to buy CLK55. As for a cab?......I think you find yourself involved in this debate, you are already the kind of person who has a passion for this stuff and you would be happier with a coupe because the performance difference between coup and cab is dramatic.

.............Also crank vs at the wheel HP is a 20% loss of crank HP by the time it gets to the wheel. so just multiply crank HP by 0.2 to get your HP at the wheel.

The different pulley cost $650 plus $150 installation

The standard pulley gives .5 bar of boos and the differtent pulley gives .6 bar. This translates to an extra 20-30HP. A CLk 320 will be able to produce 345-355 HP at the crank instead of the 330 with the standard pulley.
No, you cannot vary the boost. At least I don't think so.
