ECU Chip Tunning
Have any of you tried chip tunning your car from Wetterauer - chip tuners?
It looks like is a plug in plug out kind of deal. This way you avoid waranty issues. I'm wondering if it's worth the difference for the money.
Any thoughts on this?

I spent considerably more for a custom ECU remapping by a guy from Germany who only does Porsches + MBs. I'm sure it's the same thing Wetterauer does, more or less. It won't give you more than a 5 or so horsepower increase, but it'll undo the speed limiter (lotsa fun!), improve throttle response a bit, etc. I'm happy I got mine, but I wish I hadn't paid so much. Oh well- it's only money!
Also, you'll probably see bigger power increases with the chip if you get an aftermarket intake. Exhaust wouldn't hurt either

Same crap as everyone else. If you have the program and the knowhow anyone can do it, I'm sure. Just requires re-writing a few things- improving various aspects of the engine. I thought their 15hp claim was for their package of intake/exhaust/ecu, but I could be wrong....
