Leaky Power steering and rear diff??

Leaky Power steering and rear diff??
Looked under the car the other day and found that these two things are leaking....slowly....repair shop says rear diff gasket is bad....roughly $600 cuz of the labor involved....anyone else had these problems.....and if so....how much was the quote to fix them???

Leaking Rear diff
My differential seal went out on me about a year ago and was covered under my thrid party warranty. Cost for the parts/labor would have ran me $900 had I not had the warranty. It is a ***** to get to and do the work but its better than having your whole differential going out on you....that'd set you back around 4K! Consider yourself lucky it was caught soon enough.

thats great that you were able to get it covered under your third party warranty...cuz i just called mine and they said no.....they dont cover seals, gaskets, hoses????? wtf ?
oh well.....but they will cover my instrument cluster, so i can get my money back there......dayam them *******s!!!!!!!!!
now if they can get them to cover the power steering too that would be great!
