Mods on a 430

Hey guyz, if u were to spend $5000 on a CLK 430 which one would u choose?
1. Top of the line 19's
2. Alpine/kenwood DVD/CD/TV/MP3/GPS system
3. performance mods like exhaust, cpu etc...
I already have H&R/Bilstein on it so I dont need any suspension mods. Thanx

Since you have already dropped the car and your probably on rolling stock I would go with the appearance choice which would be the 19's. The exhaust upgrade is relatively cheap so I would do that later. Now if you spend tons of time in your car driving long distances and can't stand the factory system then you may want to opt for the Electronic/Radio upgrade you mentioned.

But with the options you posted the wheels should be first IMO.

Why dont You go with 18inch wheels that will cost you about 3500 with tires, for really nice ones. And also get a RBTech(1500) exhaust or eissenman for like (600 installed). Remove the resonator if you get the eissenman. I have the eisenmann, although it sounds nice, it doesn't look as nice or sounds as loud as the RB tech. Actually if you can get your hands on a supersprint exhaust for a clk430 (They dont have one yet) that would be your best bet. And it would probably be cheap like 500 or so. Ne Way Thats what I would do with 5000.
IF you get an exhaust for like 5-700, you will still have money to put a really nice sub and amp in the trunk, which you can always upgrade later by getting a face etc....

Do the wheels and exhaust first.

One day I'll get wheels, but I've got a different surprise coming first. If you do the wheels, do the suspension. Bigger wheels tend to give the car a higher look, and that would counteract it.

Well.... lets see you have a bigger surprise coming and you have alluded to this in other posts. My best guess would be:

Kleeman Supercharger so you can put the new badges on the back and come after the AMG's??? :p

That's not the surprise, but yes... that's coming too. Want to donate to the Get Mach430 A Kleeman Foundation?

IDOITBEST:
You should get your side markers painted, all black would look sweet on your car.

Not wheels, not supercharger???? You have done the aerodynamics on the car so I guess at this point we need to either wait or you can throw down a clue. Maybe a DVD player but that is not really a surprise- I would expect a surprise to be external or at least mechanical in nature.

While a DVD player would be cool, I'd much rather have a X-box in my car. Anways.. Wheels are coming jan/feb, not a dvd, already mentioned the supercharger. It will be noticable, either in performance or in image. And no, it will not be dubs.
