W208 Clk430 Cup Holder Broke!!!!

Well the cheap POS "arm" cup holder broke on my CLK. I pulled the entire thing out and now have a new storage compartment, however - NO cup holders now! anyway... i found this on ebay...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

Anyone know where I can get a better deal than this? Is there any other "better designed" alternative cup holder solutions for this compartment?

Thanks -

Join the club.

You can line the bottom with a piece of felt... or rubber... or whatever. Either way, it keeps my coffe from spilling much better now.

It's pretty sad that I am wishing that my benz had the same "fold away" cup holder as my commuter car does (Grand Prix GT)... Never thought a POS american car would have something designed 100x better than on the benz... hmmm

Thumbs down Cup Holder cost $2500

Because of that poorly designed cup holder, I end up replacing some electrical parts on my 2001 W208 transmission after the bottle of water spilled through the shift gear... I'll never replace that cup holder

I bought my clk430 this past june and the cup holder lasted about 4 days before I removed it.

Its in my house and the compartment is 100x more useful with out it!

Just pull it straight up with maybe a little persuasion toward the front of the car at the same time. It'll come, just talk nice.
