W208 Offset

Can someone tell me the correct offset for 18” wheels on 01’ CLK W208? I have been told et38 front and et38 rear. Can this be correct?
I’ve seen in sig’s here with many guys running 18’s and up. What is the recommended offset? Thanks.

What width 18's?

I'd probably run 18x8F 18x9R with 31mmF and 35mmR.
I've seen the same width rims run 30mm F and R though!

From my past experience with 19s, I've done 32mm front 28mm rear, which was the most aggressive setup I've gone through, but 35mm front and rear is probably the recommended offset.

W208 55 & R170 230
I am running 19X8 front and 19X10 rear., with 235 front 265 rear.!

it really depends on your rim I have 3 inch lip in the rear.. ... and it cannot clear the brake caliper... I added 10mm spacers on each side., and make it flash with the fender., looks very nice.... so basically I am running

25 offset in the rear.

Yeah sure, the brushed aluminum finish set is the 32/28 setup, and the gunmetal finish set is 35/35.
