Service question
I took a road trip to Daytona this week and while there my warning light for the pads came on. Meanwhile my initial warranty, before the Starmark portion kicks in, has expired.
Would the pads and rotors be covered under the initial warranty?
If so, what do you think the chances are of getting them to do it under warranty since in my opinion this should have been detected during the A inspection and replaced.
Thanks in advance!
Any idea if pads and rotors are coverd under the original car warranty/service agreement? I know regular service is but wasn't sure if these would be and I didn't get a copy of this stuff with the car.
Thanks again.

On my wifes BMW they required that the rotors be replaced each time the pads are because they claim they wear the same amount. Should I expect the same here?

I'm trying to find out if MB will do that also. On previous cars that I have owned they would turn the rotors, cut out the grooves, and they would be fine. Hopefully the MB rotors can be turned also.
It still ticks me off that they didn't catch it on the A service and I have to carry it back.
