Uh, no, it's not because the 209 is...
due soon. It's because the 208 coupe has run out of legs. There has just been very little interest in the cars over the last few months. The cabs are still quite strong and MB sees no urgency in rushing the 209 Cab to market when there are still unfilled orders for the 208 cab. I don't blame dealers for being cautious on 208's, the last couple I have had have hurt me too. And what is this "projected value" thing?! LOL....

The cabs are still very stong on this side of the world (lol) too, but we are starting to see an increase in production. We were getting about 1 or 2 a month, but now we are seeing 5 to 7 a month. Still not a surplus, by no means, but more than we are use to.

What part of Georgia do you live, if you don't mind? That is where I am original from.

I'm looking for 00-02 430 Coupe. Where can I get one for this $40-41K magical price?? Other than Michael T's car here in Houston, I haven't seen anything close to that price for such a well-equipped clean car.

I have an 02 CLK 430, Black on Oyster, K3, K4, Command System with 4k miles. The dealer offered me $43k. Said already had 3 CLK's and didn't need another one.

There is a guy in this forum trying to sell his '01 430c with K3 & changer in the Bay area. He is asking $46k OBO & the car has lower miles than Michael T's. Not sure if this will work, but I am sure you could get the $$$ down a little & negotiate shipping with him. Just and idea Hope this helps!!!
