It was such a long time ago I don't think I have it's papers anymore. It was a special order for a Shaikh in Qatar which was never picked up. I remember the dealer there telling me something about Double quota achievement bonus or something, they were able to custom order a few models outside the range.

But from memory...

Just picked up a 2002 CLK320 a month ago. One owner car from Philly that my father in law found at auction. I was going to do some maintenance and give it a good cleaning and flip it, but it's really growing on me.

Really sorry for the super long reply.

Let's just say I was "forced" to sell it because...

- it had 207,8xx miles
- tranny began to show signs that it was going out
- tranny was going to cost close to $4k for a complete rebuild
- KBB value was only $3,4xx

So what did i do?

... i ended up selling it for $10,000 cash.

great looking car but i agree with Jon better off without the black dip on the alloys ,but iff your happy with them that colour thats all that matters

Here's my black CLK 320 Avantgarde, 2001, that I bought last summer.
I realy like the car, it's wonderful to drive. Fast, smooth and comfortable.
It has a red and black interior. Does anyone know how common this combination is. I haven't seen any like it on the roads in Sweden at least.
