I bought drilled rotors for my 430 on ebay... brembo drilled rotors to be specific... I am happy with them and I have noticed that I have less of a brake dust problem since I have changed the rotors.... I use stock pads from the dealer

I got some brembo blanks that were cross drilled and semi-metallic pads, front and rear for under 600 installed. My friend got the exact same set-up as mine and has been having problems with the car shuddering when he applies the brakes at high speeds. I didn't have ANY problems w/ my set up at all.

So I guess you just have to be cautious about buying the cross drilled brembo blanks which are being sold on ebay for so cheap.

I'm Interested in changing mine also

I'm also interested in changing my pads and rotors off my 55.

Does anyone know as well if the new style AMG brakes (silver with AMG logo)
can be retrofitted for a W208?

Are those rotors from Ebay real Brembos?

they are authentic BREMBO BLANKS, but are cross-drilled aftermarketly (if that makes sense???)

But yeah, I've seen the C32 AMG brakes fit on our W208s w/ no problem. I think the calipers will just be kinda upside down. or backwards ....

someone correct me if i'm wrong please.

no problem.... but after hearing what I told you about my friend's car w/ the exact same set-up having major issues, i don't know if it is a good idea to go w/ these.

All I am saying is that i never experienced ANY problems w/ my set-up.

here's a link :http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCE...spagenameZWDVW

good luck. let me know how it turns out =)

Ive been waiting on mine to wear out for a while, im thinking about getting porterfield brakepads, cryogenically frozen/slotted rotors, stainless steel breaklines, and a better brake fluid (so it doesnt overheat at the drop of a hat)

C32 front brakes fit without a problem and they are in the correct orientation (not backwards or upside down or anything like that). Alot of people on this forum have done this mod

You have to buy rotors and pads (not too expensive) with the C32 brakes and it INCREASES perofrmance!

I also need new pads and rotors for my clk430. What is the biggest size of rotor I can go with stock calipers, 19"wheels?

Unless you get bigger calipers you have to use the same size rotors.
