XENON LIGHT gone Cream not White
I just had my Original Xenon lights which got damaged replaced with new MB Xenon Lights, but they start white but go cream afterwards. Anyone know why? The old one's were much better. I still have them but I can't put them back on as the plastic mountings cracked, so they not being held on properly. Any thing I can swap from the old one?
Any advice appreciated

Last August I had one of my xenon lights go out. I think they either reignited the light or replaced the bulb (under warranty). Anyways I picked up the car in the daytime only to find out later that night that my light was now yellow. I called the service advisor the next day to tell him and he told me that it takes about 300 hours for the light get back to xenon stage. Its now July 2002 and my light is just starting to get back to it's original look.

Also are both the lights meant to project at the same height?
How can you adjust this, as the lights are self levelling? Mine seem to me to low, point more to the ground than before. How then do you know what the correct height should be?

Hi Barflux !
MOT stations (and the dealers) have some magic box they stand at a certain distance from the (any) car to check the beam pattern is correct for the UK - they adjust the lights whilst the car is level - then the self levellers deal with that when the car is not level.
They donyt just adjust for height, they adjust the position of the maximum light, etc etc
Cheers
