I was driving on the highway and im going to punch it and it didnt go any were it revved up slowly and then it starts shaking as im slowing down. I try and punch it again and nothing only revvs up to 3k rpm.... and wont go any more.

Is this my MAF sensor?

My car has never done this before..........

I've never changed mine and personally never experienced a MAF going bad, but from what everone says that's what it sounds like to me. I'm sure other people will tell you this too, but your best bet is to go get the codes read and see what that says. You can usually go to an auto parts store and have them read the codes for free.

Quite possibly the MAF. How long have you had your K&N filters for? Have you re-oiled them yourself?

ive had them for about 10 months and its probably 11k miles. You think that may be the cause.

00 clk 320 and 3 hondas. Darn I am down to 4 cars.
K&N "filters" are the closest thing to running w/o filters when it comes to cleaning the air your engine breathes. I am almost sure the "filter" had something to do with the MAF going bad. It is a very delicate sensor that can be damaged by debris. It uses a fine filament that is heated and if something where to hit it on a consistent basis it can break.
