Wax after ClearCoat Polish at touch free carwash?

Wax after ClearCoat Polish at touch free carwash?
I get my car washed at a touch free automated wash. I get the ultra wash all the time which includes a clearcoat polish before the car is dried.
Is it ok to put on Zymol or Meguir wax after this? Is waxing effective since the polish is on there (does the clearcoat polish creates a protective layer in which case the wax will just wear off)? Should I even bother waxing? Any info is appreciated.
