CLK55 Driver Seat Lumber Control Not Working.
Has anyone experienced an non operable driver seat lumber control unit? The passenger seat works just fine and you can here the air inflate and deflate while the driver side does not work at all. Motor perhaps? Hopefully the MB dealership will not keep it too long as I just got the car yesterday.
On a side note, I know that this has been beaten to death but I just ordered some 18's along with H&R 1"fr. .9" back with Koni's. I was told today that the factory front spring pads were a 4 and the rear was a 2. After reading all the info I could find, I decided to go with a 2 in front and a 3 in back. Does this sound right for someone who wants a 1.25 inch drop and will the gaps be fairly even? Thanks in advance!

Out Of Control!!
I think the H&R springs drop the front more than the rear (not sure) I have the H&R cup kit and the front is definitely lowered more than the rear. In regards to the seat, look under the seat. Theres a grey plastic thin "pipe" that the air travels through to inflate the seat. Make sure it has not fallen off the chair. Hope this helps.

Thanks BlackBenz, I'll take a peek at the "pipe today". Hopefully thats the problem. I'd hate to bring it to the dealer for an extended time since I just got it. Btw, what size pads did you use in the front and rear w/your cup kit?

BlackBenz: Great call on the "pipe". The pipe was actually cut my mechanic told me. Took him about 3 minutes to fix. Works like a charm now!
Btw: I will be going with a 3 front and keep the 2 (stock) rear. Hoping not to get too much negative camber. The streets in the bay area sucks so I need a little clearance.
