My new mod

I installed this Lorinser roof wing just couple hours ago, it was a lot of work because I did everything myself. Thanks to Ben@Evosport.com (Mach430) again

Rofl, come on dude- those are pretty nice compared to most garage mod shots I've seen.

There are plenty of good pics of cars with that spoiler if you want 'em.

Sorry the pictures wern't clear enough, I started it around 6:00pm today and by the time I finished was 8:00pm so it was dark. I'm almost ready for Neowerkes now. I hope I could see some of you there and maybe we can compete with each other.

Good job with the install Bruce! Where's the tape? Did you run into any problems?

Looks great!

Ben
The only problem I had is the freaken glue got on my fingers and it was hard to wash them off. I didn't use the tape because when I put the spoiler on the window I couldn't even move it any more so I thought the tape was useless. Thanks for the instruction again, you've been very helpful since I met you.

What kind of work is involved when installing it aside from the obvious painting? i.e. How does it mount to the car?

Novice class, I believe that's the lowest one. Which one are you in?

First of all you need to sand down the back of the spoiler where it'll be attach to the window, then you put a coat of window primer on the window where the spoiler will be placed on. Now put the glue on the spoiler and level the spoiler on the window, after you've gotten the spoiler on the place you want, use the Betaclean to clean the crap around the spoiler. Everything comes with the spoiler so you don't have to buy anything. Hope this helps.

Thanks Bruce. It doesn't sound too painful. At least you don't have to sand down a part of the car like the lorinser trunk lid.

Bruce,

I cannot believe you went through all that trouble. I have this on my car. All you do is to clean the windshield with alcohol and use 3M doulbe sided tape. Takes 15 mins.

Who said you have to sand down part of the car for the trunk lid to fit? I don't remember the directions, but I did not sand any part of my car, and it's been holding in place for the past year.
