Wooooow I used to only like the Convertible CLK's but that has made me change my mind, its so nice. Will have to try and save up for some of those wheels. Good Job mate

 

Wow! this car is amazing! so amazing in fact that i took the picture of the kitted ferrari 360 modena off of my desktop wallpaper to replace it with a pic of your car! but i just got rid of my 99 CLK 430 and i liked it so much that i wanted to see what the CLK55 amg is all about and i will be in the market to buy one hopefully by the end of the summer and was wondering.....if i where to put a set of 19"s on it and install the bilstein cup kit with the #1 spring pads all around if it will have a stance similar to this car. also would it be best to put #1 pads on all 4 corners or do a "staggered" setup similar to that which comes out of the factory (mabe #1 in the front and #2 in the rear) i had 20" rims on my 430 but it felt like the damn thing rode like an suv after i put the wheels on since it lifed it up so much so i would like to go with something a bit sportier!

oh and how much do those pads run? and can i find them anywhere on the internet?

Thats 1 SiCk Ride Bro,i got the same 19" AMG rimz but i didnt know it'll fit my CLK... mine was from the old ML320.maybe i'll try it later.any engine modification down that hood?

 

How much of a drop did you do? 1.4 in? I was looking to lower mine, but I wanted to know what all I need to do and How far I could go without rubbing or having to do major work.

Thanks for the comments everyone, to answer a few questions I didn’t use any specific lowering kit. I used custom eibach springs, aporx 80mm all round. But I have to admit since these pictures I’ve had the car raised a little, aprox (10-15mm) its still very low. The ride is a lot better and I can corner @hi speeds now .

In the pictures im running #4 pads in the front and #2 at the rear, I tried having #1s all round but the car got stuck on the hydraulic ramp in the garage LOL.

Quick update,

AMG body installed, purchased direct from AMG and Suspension lift, as you can tell the suspension had to be raised. A few more mods on the way, new leather trim being fitted TODAY, I’m going for a light yellowish sand colour, as in the black 209 convertible in the above pictures. Small mods on the way, flat bonnet badge, and maybe twin exhaust…hope you like,

Damn your ride is SWEET!!! I may need to visit it, I am in Germany and I would love to copy that interior on my Black 430. Its custom right? How much was it? It would make my car stand out a whole lot more I am bored of the all black interior!!!
