Hi, I'm new to this site. I have the hardest time trying to locate where the stock amp is. I have a clk430 convertible. People have been telling me that it's on the left side in the trunk. I checked the left, right but nothing. I think it's in the back of the backseat (under neath where the top would go when I take it off). I'm not sure so I don't want to unscrew about 20 of them. Can someone tell me exactly where the amp is? I even took it to the dealer and the guy there didn't even know. If you have a convertible and know where it's, please show me. Picture would help. Thanks.

Did you remove the panel in the trunk on the left side? That's where it's located. If you don't see one then you don't have a Bose system.

I removed the linen on both sides but can't find it. I have 4 bose speakers, 2 on each side, and one in the back seat right in the middle of the back seat. I think the coupe and cabr have different locations for the amp...Is your a convertible? Thanks.
