ecu/ chip tune?
where is the ecu - i need the bosch number from it for superchips...

they reckon should take power upto 300bhp
anyone know if this is right?
also anyone know what the clk430 coupe will run to with the 155mph limiter removed?

well pffelan...
when ECU's are remapped.. they certainly increase your HP and performance by a noticeable margin.
But make sure you have the right fuel grade ( octane levels ) in your country to support it. Otherwise you'll do something really bad to your engine!

we have 98 octane across the uk so fuel is not a problem...
intrigued by the dash comments...
surely the needle just carrys on past 160?
had many cars off the clock before with no probs?
how come with merc?

dont know...
just from experience cause a friend did the same to his SL500 and had major problems with his onboard computer.
the maximum indicated speed on all mercs here ( except AMG's ) are 260 kmh. The vmax unit takes your speed past that mark so thats where the problem starts!
