A little help here....

I just got my new BRABUS springs and Eibach swaybars installed, #2 pads in the front #3 in the rear. But the rear is sitting about 5/8 of an inch lower thant the front. So my questions are:

How much do springs settle?
How long does it take?
Do you think I should put #1 pads in the front.

Have you even driven on it yet? Takes a couple weeks to settle. 5/8 of an nch! You might need to go #1.

To downtown and back and to work.

I was thinking the same thing. When should I get it aligned?

Wait at least a week and then get it aligned and see how you like it.

Thanks for the insight bb, and sorry about the chair. I still might throw the #1 pads on just in case.

Ghost, Give it some time to settle. 500-1000 miles. How do you like the ride comfort so far?

How long after you got yours installed did you get your car aligned? I still might switch to the #1's. What do you think.

I love it, the car feels so much more solid now. Thanks for pushing me over the edge.

I take it in to get the #1 spring pads installed this Wednesday, will post more pics then. Hopefully I can get a better quality when I shrink them.

The back still sits about 2/8 lower than the front, so my next step is to get #4 pads in the rear to get a little bit of a rake to the front.

Ghost, sorry I have been out of action for a while. I got shotdown "Somewhere Over the Indian Ocean."

I got my car aligned about 5,000 miles after (when I got the new rims/tires).

I am glad you got the whole package. I only got the springs and I wish I got the sway bars at the same time.

#1s are good, but sometimes they look a little too low.

Good to know, so I might just wait until it's time for my oil change which is a couple of thousand miles away.

I am going to put #4's in the rear cause with the #3's the rear still squat's a little I will take picture to show you.

Based on my experiance it looks as though the car will go up or down just about 3/8 of an inch for each increase/decrease in pad thickness.

how the rear sits to low on the wheel.

They do squat a little. But many around here will tell you that is exactly how they like it!

I think #4's will do the trick, raise it a little, without losing its character.

Things will also look better if you ever decide to switch to 18"s. If you recall, my car looked different with the 18"s on versus the stock 17"s.

I know, for some reason I have never liked to have the rear sqauting over the the tires, just looks wrong to me.

I am waiting for my new shocks to come, then I will have the #4's put in the rear and I will post new pictures then.
