hi there... just got back from signing a deal at smythe-european in san jose, ca...... new 2003 clk430 cab, new pewter color, with ash/ash... command, phone, cd changer, k4, blue-lit doorsills..... the funny thing is that i got there at 5pm and left at 8pm... and still never saw it... at the last. my great salesman, Bruce, really a great and knowlegeable guy,, gave me a chance to squint through heavily tinted glass, and the clk was in there about 60 ft away... so as i said,, i still have never seen it!.... this is really a great forum, and i'm sure i will be posted for this and that.... i will put pictures up as soon as i figure out where my camera is (moving)... cheers!......frank

Sounds like a great car, how does the ash top contrast with the Pewter body? Did you get a good enough squint to check that out? Post pics soon!!!! BTW, the GM of my old dealership is opening a new MB dealin in San Jose (Beshoff Motorcars), make sure to check it out when he gets it up and running. He is a great guy and very customer oriented!!!!

you are wrong my friend... no matter what you've heard, and i had a saleswoman in oakland say the same thing.... i own a 2003 clk430 cab. pewter/ash/ash...... the pewter exterior is the giveaway... it is on the 2003 clk430 brochure,, but not on the 2002 clk430 brochure...... call bruce at smythe european for the correct info...... thanks to everyone for the welcome and comments!.... i will post pictures soon!!......

i didn't get any chance to see the top marcus... the top was down and even if it weren't,,, i was lucky to see any part of it... i will say that what i could make out of the pewter was very intriguing.. but im going to hold my comments til tomorrow, when ill actually see it sans all the things that were in my way!....
