I have regular halogens
and I just wanted to see if the Auto-leveling Xenon's look anything like the bimmer bi-xenons

Thanks for the comments. The chick factor is not too important as I am happily married and plan on staying that way for a long time. The uniqueness is nice for sure, but what dealer perks are you referring to? Right now the reliability of the Lexus vs. the problems with CLK's is weighing on my mind, and I need to make a decision TODAY! Thanks again

Well, allow me to introduce myself. I am car consultant and i know quiet a bit about car. You are concern about the clk from what i can see. Get post 2000 model clk and your worries will be gone. Earlier models had some issues. But they are taken care of. The engine is one of the best in the world by ward's top 10 engine review.

Wow, I see quite a few familiar faces here. I only really like the CLK with the AMG sport kit. The CLK is a 45-55k car based on the last generation C-class. Mercedes marketing has done an OUTSTANDING job selling a C-class at E-class prices (the front end). IMO, the current CLK looks way better than the 2003 model. Both are still good cars.

I would have to say the same thing that Sick said.
The current CLK looks a lot better than the new one, except for that silver one that is modded that is floating around here. I think the new CLK resembles an Accord too much and is not even as powerful, except for the 500 model. the new one has tons of features that I wish could have been put on the 01 CLK for me to enjoy, but MB sold the CLK how it is, and have sold a tremendouse amount.
In one day, I saw 82 CLKs. No joke.

The rear end of the new CLK looks like an Acura CL... there was a side by side test from the exact same angle, and the rear end look identical. You can probably find it on the second or third page of the W209 forum.

It was on Little Santa Monica and Wilshire. In that area pretty much. Most of them were the 98' with the Chrome? ugly rims. But I saw a ton of cabriolets and whatnot.
Yeah, I know. All of my neighboors drive MBs, Lexus, BMW, and all of their cars are the high end ones. They all treat their cars like ****. Parking on the street is not allowed, so sometimes theyll park, run in the house, and leave. They drive their cars right into the curb not caring at all.
Sheesh. What some people will do!
