Can't figure out how to deal w my 98 CLK 320 MAFS . I am wondering if anyone has a diagram of the engine that I could follow along with the steps in the HOW TO's section?
I am unsure of what the "snorkels" are at the front grill area and I am wondering if anyone has any ideas as to how I can go about getting that underside clip dislodged? It looks like it is easy to change the MAFS, but it's hard to get my hand under the damn thing...wondering if I need to take the whole intake off?
Anybody have any PICs I could follow or color by numbers? hehe
OBDII codes show errors along both banks front and back...I am thnk ing that the CHECK ENGINE ELECTRONICS error I am seeing is more likely a MAFS needing replaced than all of my O2 sensors going bad....seem right to you?

By the way...I purchased a Bosch MAFS on Ebay today and realized too late that it stated it was for a CLK 430. Any chance that it is the same for the CLK 320?
I know..I am a fool for making the mistake...
Sure would appreciate your expert advice.

320 and 430 MAFs are different. 320 is a 112 engine, 430 is a 113 engine. Good news for you is that the one you bought is more expensive than the one you need so you can sell it and get some money back!
