Spring pads....
I'm thinking of putting the 5mm spring pads on the front/back. Because it will only lower the front about 1/2" will I need an alignment?
btw, I just installed H&R 12mm spacers in the rear and it looks great! I would absolutely recommend it to give your CLK a more aggressive look.

Spring Pads
Here's a shot of a stock front spring and pad. The spring pad is the round doughnut looking thing. Comes in different sizes from 5mm(Dot 1), 9mm(Dot 2), 13mm(Dot 3),and 17mm(Dot 4). In time you'll probably get a more technical response but I hope this helps in the mean time.

is it possible to cut/shave the standard pads or do i have to buy new ones....(im not really this much of a scrooge..just wondered if anyone had tried it?)
