help with heater and ac

dont know if anyone else has ever experienced this but figured if anyone had any ideas or suggestions i would be open to them anyways thanks in adance for any insight. When i turn on my ac or heater on hi or any setting for that matter im getting little to no air out of my vents i can hear my blower motor and had it checked it is working fine no problem but behind the glove box none of the 8 solenoids that move the rods and control the vents move no matter how i adjust the settings on the control unit all lights light up and the climate and fan speed control on the control unit work but for some reason my vents are not working so i am thinking that they are closed and i can get them open any ways any suggestions are welsome underneath the hood there is a diagnostic port im not sure if mercedes or another ac service center has a diagnostic tool but like i said open to any help

Try the flap function tests. This is for a W210, but the pics in the article look like the 208 climate control.
