its a two way street tho. It will firm up the chassis, but also, when you round a corner and one spring compresses, a strut tower brace will force the opposite spring to decompress. This takes away from your cornering abilities because it keeps the car from planting itself throughout the turn. The best strut tower braces have rubber bushings in the middle and are adjustable, this allows for a stronger chassis without the lift effect.
