Well...yes, yes it is. but you have provided no information about your vehicle except that it is a CLK that you bought over the last 3 months. Given the info you have provided Im thinking this was posted in W208 forum and belongs in either the W209 or the 'Audio & Electronics' forum.

Moving along and w/out a year, whether you have in dash "Audio 10" model or a tape player and CD Changer...I can only suggest you to look for your answer in the later of the afore mentioned forums or take a look at the attached manual for an "Audio 10" model found in many MB 99-02. If you own the tape player and CD changer head unit....still take a look as the functions are more than likely identical!

Enjoy!

thanks for the reply dude. I wasnt being archy, but i didnt know there was a difference in stock head units. its a 230 kompressor(im in australia) and its a 2000 mkodel with a 6 stackers cd and tape player in the dash. Hope that clears it up and thanks again. is it the same manual still?

the manual must be a different one because pressing the ^ button on my radio only skips cds in my stacker and doesnt fasst forward. Thanks anyway if anyone has the same head unit as me and knows how to fast forward i would be very gratefull
