I guess you never plan on getting a BBK then.

those wheels look nice! i'm pondering rims or not. i think i'm going to work on ipod integration b4 wheels though. do you guys think my ride will be a lot more rough if i put on like 19 or 20 inch wheels? my friend can get me a cheap deal on these wheels... are sevas nice wheels?

It really depends on how you drive, and where you drive. 19's may look better, but the ride will be some what harsher. I think 18's are an ideal everyday use. But, if you don't plan on lowering your car, keep the stock wheels.

BTW, the Sevas "HRE 546R" replicas would look pretty good on a CLK.

You may have some rubbing issues (mainly on full turns) with an 8.5 front. But, it really depends on what tires you get.

I went with an 8 inch up front and 10 on the rear on my iForgeds.

It should be fine. What brand tires are you running? I'm running the same set up on the front. I went 275 on the rear, but I believe 265 is ideal.

8.5 front is fine. I have that on my car with 235/35/19 tires and dont have a problem rubbing and Im really low in the front. Worst case scenario: roll your fenders. Having such a big lip will not allow you to clear a BBK in the future, just a heads up.

I had the Sevas S Star wheels on my clk and I loved them. If they cleared a BBK I would still have them. Do a search and you'll find plenty of pics of them on my car.
Here are a few old ones:

I got them $ 1,200.00 with M-B chrome star center caps and all the lug bolts.
the stock lug bolts won't fit/ to long. I was going to buy steel valve stems and they said they had issues with air leaks! so I purchased the rubber/chrome ones.I got 19's, dont drive the car that much, roads here are
ate up and lots of craters. I will use the 17's inchers(AMG) for long trips

I agree!! for the look 19's, daily driver 18's with look, and the classic look of
17's comuters/ drag strip use (AMG)/daily use smooth ride

Did you say WALD!! Wow do you have any more pics of the front and rear of your car. Awesome wheels and color combo!!

I vote for IForge Classic for a CLK, but can't go wrong with either. Both are sweet. I just like the way the Daytona looks on Sedans.
