question about navigation, please help!

Hey guys, new member here, great site! I have a 99 clk 320, but it does not have navigation. I know it is a double din radio size, so I can go after market if I need to. Can I purchase a unit like the pioneer avic d1 and will it work in the clk? do I need any adapters for the wiring harness? Or should I just buy the stock mercedes stuff, will it plug right in? If so, where is a good place to buy besides e bay? thankyou very much, info is apreciated!

Yes, the avic d1 (d2 now) will fit. i put one in my 430, all you need is the harness, and you will need to cut this piece that goes across the hole when you take the radio and pocket out. and you will also have to bypass the factory amp.
