My clock and and gear indicator display is on the fritz...which I've read is a common problem, and cannot be easily repaired except for a cluster exchange.

I'm out of my orig. warranty by months.....will (should??) my extended StarMark warranty cover a new instrument cluster?? Just want to have as much info as possible before questioning the dealer.

not sure if its covered or not but just call up the dealer and ask. if you need a new one and its not covered email steve and he has the nice anthracite (sp?) amg clusters for sale for way cheaper than the dealer

Yes, I've had my cluster replaced by the dealer for missing pixels, and it was covered under the StarMark Extended warranty.
