Taking delivery Thursday - anything I should know?

Signed all the paperwork etc., picking up the car Thu... just wondering if there's anything I should have them do while the car is still there... I remember reading something about changing the timer on some lights... what about Tele-Aid?

Thx.

Not sure about the timer, but you need to activate the Tele-aid after you got your car. Enjoy your new car.

Tele-aid is free the first year, right?

Anything else to keep in mind?

Try to take delivery while there is still light out- so you can go over the car clearly- just in case there was any lot damage. I actually test drove my car on a Friday afternoon but it got dark when I decided to buy it so I signed my purchase order Friday and took delivery the next day in the morning.

Make sure your gas tank is full- that's the least they could do for you and go through the delivery walk through with the salesman. Do not let him/her rush you through it. Other than that I think you should be OK. If you have any problems with your car they won't usually arise until after you have had the car for a while.

Tele-Aid is free the first year but you have to wait to activate it after the dealer faxes in your information to the Tele-Aid Center. I just waited until the next day to do it.

Make sure you test drive it first before taking delivery so that you can see if there's any problem with the car.
